If you’ve been listening for a while, you know we love to bring you news about what’s going on in the world of dog-centric entertainment. We’ve done movie and movie trailer reviews, even interviewed some people in the entertainment industry.
Basically, we’re fans of anyone and anything that celebrates dogs. And we’ve done a few episodes where we highlight a famous JRT, like Eddie from Frasier.
So staying in the lane of dogs/entertainment, we thought it would be cool to highlight a celebrity puppy parent—a Jack Russell parent!
The Puppy Parent Aesthetic
For some, the idea of a dog being part of someone’s aesthetic is off-putting. After all, dogs aren’t accessories. However, when dogs are truly companions as they were to Audrey Hepburn, they can become almost synonymous with their owners. Hepburn was among the first in Hollywood to bring her dogs along everywhere she could, in turn making it glamorous to have a beloved pooch underfoot — and unintentionally contributing to the concept of a dog being a chic fashion accessory.

Dogs were an integral part of Hepburn’s happiness and became part of her public image because they were so often by her side both on sets and in her private life.
